Action Progam provides grants and loans for housing rehabitation in
rural areas of Champaign County. Also provides houising counseling
to low-income households. Depending on availability of funds,
RPC helps homeless or near homeless persons with first month rental
payments, provides family and community development case-coordination
services, and may help with past due rent. Also provides information,
referral and advocacy for low-income families, home day care training
for TANF recipients and a career mentoring program for low-income students
in Champaign County schools. Post-secondary scholarships for qualified
low-income students are available. RPC administers the Champaign

remember that most utility companies do have payment assistance programs as
well. In getting assistance with other bills (i.e. Utilities, Food, etc.),
